What do you eat rice with?

In my culture rice is the main dish. But you can add vegetables (peas, corn, etc) or any type of meat.

Make a simple Veg Biryani.
Take a generous amount of oil / ghee (3 tbsps) add cumin seeds. Let it crackle. Saute ginger and garlic. add sliced or diced onion. Saute till light brown. Add vege of your choice. Add salt and biryani masala. Cook on medium heat for 5-6 min(can stir occasionaly). Add rinsed pre soaked rice Add water. (1 cup rice to 1 1/4 cup water).Simmer on low for 15-20 min or till done.
