How do you prepare school lunches

Post by Beaches and sunshine »

Deciding what to prepare for your hungry kids to eat at school can be kinda hectic .so here are some easy ,healthy and delicious school lunch ideas that your kids will definitely love.
1.try a bagel with lettuce, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
2.boil some potatoes and stuff them with cheese for a filling lunch.
3.make them a fruit salad with fruits of their choice and add honey as a seasoning.
4.give them a treat by baking some ready-made store bought 🍕 pizza.
So how do you prepare school lunches

Oh. Vege sticks are always great. And bottled water.

Pepperoni sandwiches on french bread or on small sweet rolls are lunchbox staples here. I keep the pantry stocked with single serving sides, and the crisper drawer filled with a sampling of drinks, cheese sticks, slices of fruit, etc. The kids seem to cooperate better in making it out the door on time when they have choices about the day's lunch. We like to collect lunch idea pins together on occasion too.

I love the ideas that have been posted. The note on having fruit already sliced encourages the little ones to make the healthier choice because it is easy. I cannot believe that I have not thought of that yet. My little one is a picky eater. Sliced cucumbers, apple slices, berries, yogurt, ham and cheese sandwiches, ritz crackers, tomato soup and crackers, leftover spaghetti.

try not to repeat the same food even though its healthy as kids get bored easily. If I wanted to repeat I would add something to make it colorful. Sometimes its best to involve children during packing lunch. Like asking their choice between apples or banana.

I don't have any kids of my own, but when my partner heads off to campus, I usually prepare him some chicken (various prep methods), a soft-boiled egg or two, brown rice, and spinach. Neither of us have a sweet tooth, but occasionally, I throw in a banana.

My son's school provides them with lunch so the only thing I have to worry about is his snack box and for that, we try to stay away from as much sugar as possible with some compromises.

I helped my mom make snacks for my siblings before. It's normally leftover pies we baked, cookies, brownies, onigiri, and if we are too busy they just take cereal with milk!

I usually put whatever vegetables and fruits there are at home, mostly carrots and apple. I also try to always have something sweet baked like apple pie or oat cookies.
