Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert is my favorite food-related book. This book taught me that the best pizza in Italy comes from Naples, and the best pizza in the world comes from Italy. In Naples, you can also get chocolate pizza. Pizzeria da Michele is now on my list of must-see places in Naples, Italy.

Mine is titled Culinary Journey, it is one of the best. It shows recipes and menus from different cultures, society and places.

Not a movie but a show Nailed It! on Netflix. It is funny and entertaining to me at least.

Actually, the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder gives amazing descriptions of food, particularly the second book, Farmer Boy. Even though I don't think I would necessarily enjoy all the food depicted, my mouth waters whenever I read the tantalising descriptions. Would definitely recommend it to any foodies although it might leave you with intense cravings!

I love food and cooking so much. I will take these mentions as recommendations, I have never read novels that have detailed mentions and descriptions of food.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi is an excellent movie (documentary) about food. In it, Jiro is absolutely meticulous about how he makes sushi and his dedication to his craft is admirable.

My favorite movie that centers around food in the story is Food Stamped. Food Stamped is an informative and humorous documentary film following a couple as they attempt to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet on a food stamp budget. They are going to try and eat as healthily as possible under the monetary restrictions which is a better lesson for me as a person that uncontrollable when it talks about eating.

My favorite move centered around food was Jiro Dreams of Sushi. Although some may find this movie to be slow or even mundane, I thought it was fascinating to watch the passion of this sushi chef and dedication to his craft.

One of my favorite movies about food is "Chocolat" (from the year 2000) that features Juliette Binoche. She moves to a small French village and opens a chocolate shop. It's a delightful movie. Just be prepared with your chocolate snack when you're watching it, because it seems impossible to watch without craving chocolate.

It's not about food, but I've got to admit that food time in the great hall from the harry potter books were quite impressive.
