What do you prefer when sick?

Post by kaylahk17 »

I woke up with the whole sinus thing that's always going around. I always think nice warm soup sounds good when I'm not feeling great. I'm not a chicken noodle soup person though. I prefer a nice creamy, cheesy soup. What do you like to eat when you are not feeling good?

I love creamy soup as well! I also love creamed corn for some reason and lemon ginger tea.

Vegetable soup; still can't get behind chicken noodle. On top of this a nice juice or warm tea with honey.

Hot soup with provision and dumplings does the trick. You'll be up and feeling better in no time!

Hot tea and lots of water is what I usually go for! Sometimes, I cook up rice porridge + some egg, garlic, and ginger, and possibly chicken.

I agree with you on the creamy soup but apart from that I love chicken nuggets.

When I'm sick I like to eat very spicy food because the chilli really helps clear up the sinuses. Usually, when I'm sick, I don't feel like eating food because I'm either too weak or I've lost my sense of taste. When that's the case, I add extra chilli and spices and eat something that I'd usually like.

Usually when I am sick I prefer warm foods such as soup. I am a ramen fanatic so usually I will boil some ramen noodles and add anything that is on my fridge. I could be eggs, chicken, peas or even corn. I try to aim for healthy elements in order to make something with lots of nutrients and also tasty!

Warm foods are my go to. They make me feel so much better. I will reach for soup or hot chocolate for the comfort factor.

I enjoy peppery soups. Otherwise I can't take it because my taste is usually bland when sick

I am an Indian, so whenever anyone is sick at home, we have curd (yogurt) rice.
