Well, I might like salt a bit too much - I sprinkle salt with my free hand until I get that tickle in the back of my neck telling me "that's seriously more than enough!" :)

If you do by chance throw in too much, I have learned that putting potatoes in the dish (where applicable) can reduce the salt significantly!

I don't measure salt, I just eyeball it. But my personal rule is to use less salt than more salt. Funny, I like bland food, tasting the ingredient it self. Also for health reasons.

We just measure it with our fingers. I do not know how we know when salt is enough but we no matter how big the pot of food is.

Salt- experimental ingredient. Hence in all recipes they say - salt as per your taste. You add it, not satisfied just add some more over the dish. :lol2:

Start small and then add with taste! Overtime you will come to understand the amounts you need for various meals instead of needing to measure or constantly test.
If it's something you can't necessarily sample, like raw meat, trust what the recipe says and then make a note while you're eating if something tasted off.

I do not follow any measurement technique in terms of add salt to food. most times, i let my instincts and tongue do their job.

I don't know how people enjoy putting salt in their meals. It is something I can never wrap my head around because I don't use salt to cook.

The first time I cooked a recipe, i didn’t include any salt. Now i regret it, so i will definitely sprinkle some of it to my dish, next time

I do not like salt that much, but I never measure it either, I just sprinkle it and hope for the best. So far I have never added too much salt, but a couple of times I have needed to correct and add more. I use more pepper than salt for seasoning.
