Fictional Foods

There are so many amazing foods that authors incorporate in their stories. So what fictional foods or recipes do you most want to try? And have you seen any good copycat fandom recipes for them? I think I'm in the mood for some lembas bread.

I love Harry Potter and there are so many foods in there that I would love to try. I'd love to try cauldron cakes and butterbeer. They sound so good!

I would also have to say Harry Potter! There are so many foods from the series that I would love to try, specifically Pumpkin Pasties and Cauldron Cakes. I have found recipes that someone created but I have yet to try them out.

The butterbeer recipes I've tried online that use vanilla ice cream are the best!

I don’t know whether that’s fictional or not but I like the food that they make in Tom and Jerry is great. The soup, the sandwiches and the meat looks delicious!

Definitely wanna try to cook all the fictional food someday!
I too agree that Harry Potter has some nice food there and also lets not forget The Narnia series; Joanne Harris' Chocolat, and Douglas Adams' Restaurant at the End of the Universe

In cartoons, a freshly baked pie kept on the window sill for cooling down always waters my mouth

oh and a perfect round scoop of icecream on waffle cone as well

I'm trying to get more into coooking. This discussion on fictional foods has made me want to do a cooking challenge but only fictional foods now! Anyway, I read the book called To Best The Boys by Mary Weber which is an amazing read and I highly recommend it. The worldbuilding is very good and they have this dessert they serve at this festival and the author actually put the recipe for it at the end of the book. I don't remember what it's called, but I have it saved somewhere and I definitely want to try it out one day.

Reading this post I've remembered about some dishes from the Hunger games. I am talking not only about food that they've eaten in the Capitol. I remember some good and cheep recipes that they've eaten in the twelth. That was really nice, I think I need to reread it just for recipes.

Anything from Studio Ghibli. The food in the movies always look so delicious!! If I had to pick one it would be Siberia from The Wind Rises.
Oh and Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs Cereal from Calvin And Hobbes

I was about to comment this. Kimi no Nawa and other animes, too. I believe there's a person who recreated the dishes you see on Studio Ghibli films, but I can't remember where it was.

I really want to have the Dauntless cake. And butterbeer. Lembas bread, Monica's Christmas candy that she made for her neighbours, a Krabby patty burger, everything from Willy Wonka, Romulan Ale, "gray stuff" from Beauty And The Beast, Raktajino (Rajakino?) from Star Trek. There's just...a lot.
