Some time ago, I loved to eat whilst reading. But now, it's a big distraction from either. So in recent times, I make sure to finish one before the other.

Depends on the flow of the plot. In suspense ,I would have myself a bar of chocolate to relax the anxiety of knowing what will pop up. :lol2:

No, for a few of reasons. I generally prefer finger foods, and don't want to get any residue on my book or ereader. If I'm reading a physical book, it's really hard to do one handed and not worth the effort. But the biggest reason for me, that won't apply to many or even most people, is that I have sensory issues surrounding sound. I can't stand the sound of chewing, especially my own. It turns my stomach and I lose my appetite entirely. Books don't make noise that can distract me from the chewing sounds. Yes, I'm weird, don't judge me.

I always enjoy eating, so it would be a definite yes while reading as well.
Maybe more snacks than a plate of food though.

I love to have at least 2 or three beverages. Usually ice water, fresh iced tea, and/or maybe a hot tea. Then a crunchy, savory snack - like chips or triscuits and cheese or maybe some grapes.

Anything that I don't need to pay attention to to put in my mouth. So popcorn, corn nut, cookies, pastries.
Today's me is better than yesterday's me.

I'm a criminal snacker. I like to peck at anything small, crunchy and spicy. Popcorn is also a delicious book companion. I don't always eat while I read, but I would like to...

I really love with you on the weekend. Reading keeps my mind busy and eating kisma much busy which to me is a perfect combination that makes understanding what is being really very easy.

I don't necessarily eat snacks while I read because I don't like how it leaves stuff on my fingers than having to turn the page. I prefer to have something like a pop to drink while reading instead.
