This really depends on the type of cooking. When it comes to grilling and smoking, I think guys end up being better only because guys are less likely to mind cooking in the summer in 100 degree weather. Doesn't really have much to do with skill, more about interest. I think gals end up being better at baking because they are more likely to enjoy decorating and presentations. Baking is as much taste as it is presentation. Baking a delicious birthday cake takes a very different skill set than grilling a juicy burger.

Very debatable. Either can cook there are lots of factors that determine this, passion is one of them. My husband cooks better than me.
