The best meal we ever made was prime rib with sautéed mushrooms and au jus, broccoli with hollandaise sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and warm sourdough rolls. My family worked together to make it, and then we enjoyed it thoroughly!

My best meal was 2 years ago. Even though my wife (married to her for 33 years so she should know) calls me the mad scientist of the kitchen, I actually made a meal that she and my adult children have been pestering me to redo more often than I have the funds for. Here it is:

Main Dish: Beer Braised Pork Chops smothered in a light buttery garlic sauce.
Sides: Twice baked potatoes garnished with fresh crumbled bacon, Mushroom Caps in red wine sauce, rice boiled in chicken soup along with home made bread.
Dessert: Crustless Pumpkin Pie, Home made whipped cream, home made hot cocoa with a light flavoring of mint extract.

This wasn't for any occasion. I just felt crazy that day and wanted to whip up something different. It made the family happy. I'm good with that. :)

Fried rice with lots of onions, sunny side up egg, slice of meat, hot coffee. I feel like being health conscious

I am still a teen so I don't do much. I love making mchadi tho, they are made with corn flour and water, cooked in oil. They are the best.
