I do like white rice. I grew up with it. I tried to make the switch to brown rice but my family and I like white rice better. I try to eat less of it though. I also like basmati, jasmine, and wild rice.

As an Asian, rice is a must in my household everyday. We usually eat white or brown. Depends on our stock. To make fried rice, you need to have white rice and not brown.

I mean no offense by suggesting to use white rice for fried rice and not brown. But, it totally depends on you. I have seen many people using brown rice for fried rice. There are different breeds of white and brown rices. So, yes, it depends on the people and the place they come from!

I will eat any kind of rice made in any way. Sometimes white rice and soy sauce is what I eat for dinner if I just want comfort food. I like other kinds of rice such as brown, jasmine, and wild grain. But long grain white rice is the best rice to use in my family recipes such as spanish rice, stir fry, etc.

White rice is nice and I especially love it with stew. You can also try basmati or malawian rice. It smells and taste good.

I agree. Brown rice us definitely healthier. Rice is one of my favorite food. Personally, I do not mind whether it is white or brown.

I love white rice- especially jasmine rice. I do try to make myself eat brown rice but prefer white rice for sure.

I love white rice. Specifically Jasmine rice or Basmati rice. Aromatic rices make a great side dish for pretty much anything. I recently fried up some star anise, cumin, and white onion before adding my rice and water to create an aromatic pairing for my curried lentils.
