I like plantains. I have had them as porridge, fried, boiled, roasted, dried. My favorite is fried, like the commercially fried ones as snacks. Sweet or salty, it's a snack i would always want.

I love them as a savory snack every now and then. I'll slice them into pieces and then pop it in a pan with a bit of oil and sprinkle salt on top. Plantain chips from the grocery store are also great!

I enjoy plantains and I love them fried. Fried plantains are the key to my soul. They can be eaten with anything.

I love plantains regardless of how they are prepared, and i mean roasted, boiled, fried, ripe or unripe so long as it's properly cooked.

What's your favorite plantain dish?
I have never cooked them despite living in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. I've eaten them lots though! Normally fried.

I know plantains have something to do with bananas, but what exactly is it? I came across the word a lot in books by Nigerian writers.

I love plantains. I eat them all the time. Usually it's either boiled semi-ripe plantains or fried ripe plantains.

The irresistible allure of fried plantains has captivated my taste buds since childhood. This humble yet versatile fruit transcends its supporting role as a starchy staple when transformed into delectable chips of golden perfection.

Among the pantheon of plantain preparations, frying elicits the fullest expression of the fruit's latent sweetness.

Each bite floods my senses, the crisp texture giving way to a sweet, moist interior. Hints of caramelized sugars mingle with the subtle fruit essence.
