Do you prefer when your mother cooks or when your father cooks?

Post by Kedisha Graham »

At primary school my classmates used to brag about their parents cooking and while the vast majority would praise their mother's cooking, some thought that their father's cooking was best.

Where I live traditional gender roles are embraced and single moms are prevalent so for a broader perspective who cooks best in your home? And if there is no mother or father is it your grandparents or other relatives? I think my mother cooks the best in my immediate family what about You?

I definitely prefer my mom’s cooking.. I mean my day can cook but there’s this whole other feeling of real satisfaction I get after eating mom’s food..

Well, according to our culture my mom is the one who always does the cooking so that is my choice.

My mom is a better cook than my dad. I prefer her cooking over his any day.

Even though my dad is a very enthusiastic cook, nothing comes close to my mom's cooking😊

My father! Although my mom always made good food, my dad's also stood out to me more. I think it might also be, because he made food a lot less than my mom, so I was more used to my mom's cooking and my dad always made a lot of complex food that had a huge flavour and ingredients load.

Hi, I would have to say, my mom. My dad doesn't really cook. 😅 She makes the best split pea soup and savory rice dishes. My mom has taught me the basics and I enjoy cooking!

My dad cooks once in a while, and when he cooks it's something different from what we would normally eat. My mum does the most cooking which has a heavy influence on how what and how I eat. Verdict, they are both awesome cooks.
Today's me is better than yesterday's me.

Well, my parents are both gone, but back in the day, I loved it when my dad cooked. He was a wonderful cook, even working with his brother to put on meals for their club. Mom's meals were OK, but dad's were exciting.

I would love to experience being cooked by my mom, haven’t experienced it yet since I am living with my grandparents since then.
