Yep. I just finished reading a recipe book and I tried a veggie burger. That was incredible.

Yes, recently read a book where the main character made zucchini bread a few times. I tried a zucchini bread recipe out and it was fantastic.

When I was teaching 4th grade, we were reading a book about Manifest Destiny and settlers moving out West. In one of the stories from the anthology the characters made Johnny Cakes - needless to say, we made them in class and they were pretty good...with some chocolate.

Yes I have. It turned out all right to. I've forgotten the title of the book with one of the best novels they gave me some of the best cookie recipes that I've been using till date.

Yes, I have tried. I have to say that it was a disaster. I however got the hang of it, and I'm a pro at making the dish now.

No, but I dream of dining in the Hogwarts Great Hall! The description of the food in the books makes me hungry every time I re-read them!
