My favorite books that deal with the issue of inflammation and how to stop informatory properties are: Advanced Nutrition and Human Metabolism as well as The Inflammation Syndrome. Does anybody else have any other recommendations?

What I can add here is that the ingredients you use are also important for an recipe you choose. Anti-inflammatory foods you can add are tomatoes, onions and garlic. I never do without them.

What are your favorite forms of turmeric? Powder? Cooked into things? Baked? Sometimes I splurge and buy one of those fruit juice shots that have ginger and turmeric and other ingredients. I'd love to figure out a way to naturally weave turmeric into my diet - other than taking a supplement.

I also believe that turmeric is an amazing anti-inflammatory. If you don't like the taste, a smoothie will work just fine. I also add turmeric to apple juice/lemon juice/cayenne pepper. Tastes amazing!
