I have a lot of teasing from my girlfriend about this, but I absolutely love peanut butter and marmite on toast. Peanut butter goes on first and then marmite on top. It is excellent in my opinion!

My weird dish is actually a snack-
Rusk with Jam. I don't know if anyone has tasted it or not. If not, do it today.

Ground beef with chicken flavored rice-a-roni, soy sauce, and melted American cheese. Yum!

I lived for a short period of time in Denmark where I tried mackerel in curry sauce, really yummy if you eat it with salmon on a slice of rye bread.

A friend went to Iceland and tried fermented shark, I love sharks so I would never try it, but he loved the dish. :shock2:

Parle-g blended in the chai. It's weird and yuck for others. But for me, it's heaven on the earth.

A dish that I like that a lot of my friends find very weird is a mix of chickpeas, eggs, turkey, and ranch. It's a high-protein meal with some flavor.

We called it Taho. For me, it’s weird food because I really don’t know what this food is made up of but I really love it. Every morning I would buy one and drink it.

Wow!!! It's been 6 years since I started this thread and its still going strong. I feel like Ferris Bueller when he comes out of the shower at the end of the movie's credits and says, "Are you still here? It's over." *LOL* There are sure a lot of "weird dishes" out there .

This isn’t necessarily a dish, but I do have an interesting food combo.
Kimchi, preferably spicy, paired with Korean honey butter chips. It sounds odd, but to me it’s a great combination!

People actually frown when I tell that my favorite food is curd rice. The smoothie craze has put yogurt under a sweet category. But curd rice is an Indian delicacy that is savory! It's good when your stomach has been troubling you or to cool your body.
