I don't think I prefer one or the other. I use both. Sometimes I like to go old fashioned and use a cookbook. Sometimes I have to look stuff online that might not have it in a cookbook. I like both equally.

I do not like spending money on physical cookbooks, especially when I am not sure how useful it will be. I usually look them up on the web too.

A long time ago, I bought a cookbook, but I like to experiment and do things my way. Recently, I started following recipes online because they are from different cuisines, and I loved knowing their original methods.
Life is hard on its own so let's make it easier for each other if we could.

I have a few cookbooks and like keeping them on hand. But it's generally faster and more convenient to search for recipes online rather than flipping through books.

I prefer to use YouTube when I want to test new recipes. Using cookbooks is not my cup of tea.

I have several cookbooks, some of which were gifted to me. I seldom pick up any of them these days. I really enjoy looking for recipes online because I can choose ones with ingredients that I prefer, and I can make substitutions of some ingredients. I make note of what works and what doesn't work, so I will know what not to do the next time I try the recipe. This way I am sort of making my own cookbook.

I appreciate the tactile experience of flipping through cooking books, savoring the beautiful images and detailed instructions. However, online recipes provide quick accessibility, and I often blend both approaches for a well-rounded culinary experience.
