:o I have soooo many cookbooks that I rarely use. Right now I'm hooked on Julia Child. I'm on a quest to find the secret of meringue! Every time I make a lemon meringue pie, the meringue falls!!

recipes online seem easier to follow, especially on Youtube.
People who read are hiders. They hide who they are. People who hide don't always like who they are.

I was looking online whenever i want to cook or bake, but i realised that is best to have cooking books because sometimes i forget ingredient, when i get back to online receip i no longer get what i got at first, so books are the best because they stay longer.

Books with physical recipes on paper is easier than online because they last longer and can not be “revoked” or “removed”

I am a fan of e format over physical. So I rather get my recipes online unless it only exists in the confines of a outcast book which is rare 🤷🏼

I used to have some cookbooks, with info on various recipes and techniques, but for a long time now, I just rely on the internet. All the info I need is there. Still, sometimes, I do just like the feel of a physical cookbook, although it wouldn't be my main resource for cooking.

If I had to choose it would definitely be the latter although I do own some recipe books that I bought many years ago.

I have a lot of cook books but rarely use them. I get most of my recipes online. It is easier for me to search for a recipe online than flip through books. It is also easier to organize and keep my favorite recipes.

I look most recipes up on Pinterest or through a google search. But, I also love my Jessie James Decker cookbook for chocolate chip cookies, they’re addictive. And, our local school fundraiser’s use to sell cookbooks to make money for their sports clubs. I’ve bought several of those and I use them often because I know the people who have contributed their recipes and they’re all great cooks.

I prefer searching recipes online because it is inconvenient and I look at the reviews of people who have tried the recipes.

Serious Eats is my favorite online resource. But usually I go to youtube because the South Koreans and the Japanese have awesome asmr baking vlogs. Reddit, too, because you also get tips from the community and from the poster.

I think the only cook books I ever saw was when I was little with my mum. But as time grew and the internet became readily available I follow recipes online.

I've not had enough exposure to cookbooks. I've read about 3-5 of them over the years but I've only tried one recipe out of them. Cooking shows on television and YouTube are usually my go-to. I enjoy watching people cook and it eases the learning process for me.

I tend to use books for baking, like Mary Berry's or the Be-ro cooking book (a classic in England), but I tend to look for recipes for meals online because it is easier to tailor them to the ingredients I have!
