I cooked yam porridge. It was sweet and I loved making it. I made it with vegetables which help for blood circulation. I enjoyed it.

I bought ingredients for lots of new yummy recipes but in the end I just wanted sausage rolls so I used some frozen sausages and some ready-rolled pastry dough. They were surprisingly good, enough so that I don’t feel too guilty about pushing back all my other meals this week.

Yesterday I made a "mexican lasagna" by layering tortillas, some homemade refried beans, and a homemade salsa in a casserole dish. Topped with cheese, baked until melty, and boy was it good. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been on a kick to cook the best carrots. I don’t even really like carrots but will eat them if they are cooked with something else. I have tried roasting them with olive oil and seasonings but they have been either too crunchy or too dry. I’m going to try a baking bag next time.

It was a perfect day to make a apple /carrot cake . I don't use eggs im allergic. But the apple sauce was the perfect substitute.
The apple sauce, I made first.
I cook alot because of food allergies. The frosting is butter cream very simple. This was about 35 mins of time. The cake baked for an hour and 10mins at 350.
It was perfect for the nights desert and is a good breakfast cake. :no-spoil:

I made red curried lentils with fried fragrant star anise, cumin, and fried onion jasmine rice. It was absolutely the best. It was also my first attempt making an aromatic rice more aromatic. I'm never going back to regular jasmine rice. :happy-partydance:

I found the easiest little oreo cheesecake recipe and I've been making it all the time lately! It's only 4 ingredients- I can't believe I'd been missing out on this my whole life!

I am going to make Chicken Diana for dinner. well, that's what I call it. btw, I am mostly over using recipes unless I want to know how long one of my new appliances (hotpot, airfryer, solar oven) takes to cook something through.
