I grew up in the south so I love to cook. I have been cooking since I was five of my own accord. I believe the best food is those made from scratch. Of course I make things from a box but the last thing I made was cookies. What did you make?

I also love to do pastries but when it doesn't work, I try to adjust my cooking ingredients. Then, I baked again the scratch to make it crunchy, ground it and put it as toppings on my new cake.

Day before yesterday I had chicken in dinner and that was left. So, I prepared a salad using the leftover chicken and some vegetables. It was worth eating.

I've done a simple chao fan like in the fast food chain, Chow King which is one of their specialties. I used rice, egg, left over veggies, bits of chicken and ham. Just combine all of them and cook it in a pan. Then after that you already have a home cooked dinner made from scratch with some left over food and ingredients at home.

The last thing I made from scratch was cake I love making my cake from scratch than a box and most of the time it turns out great

I almost always cook from scratch. Last night was hamburgers and a big Salads!

Homemade chicken soup for my sick parents. I put lots of kale in it. I love kale in soups. Great way to get it into your diet.

Yesterday, for dinner, I made Ree Drummond's vodka sauce, using homemade tomato paste and homemade penne pasta, and simultaneously made banana bread for my husband's breakfast

Pancake. I ran out of pancake mix. So I have to make it from scratch. Taste better actually. Especially when I added pineapple bits with the mixture. And I used pineapple syrup instead of maple syrup. I love it!

Everything? Lol. I always make pancakes from scratch, i make a mean marinara sauce, my own bread crumbs, don't bake cake, so won't make that from scratch.... But in trini, it's a lot cheaper to use the stuff you have intead of buying ready made stuff to just add water or milk.... so i guess im a cook it yourself from scratch mama. Lol

Amish Sweet Bread. Nothing beats bread right out of the oven.

I made fudge brownies with pecans and almonds. Sadly it did not turn out right.

We always eat home-cooked food, but if you're talking about from scratch...my mom made butter recently, and we always make our own yogurt too.

Made some lemon ricotta pancakes from scratch the other day. Not the most complicated, but they sure were tasty.
