I'm from eastern part of Africa in Kenya. I come from the coastal region of Mombasa and here our secret ingredient is coconut.we like almost anything that has coconut in it and my favourite food is coconut grilled fish.its a very tasty dish that you can have with rice, ugali or even a traditional bread known as โ€˜mofaโ€™.u first have to mix coconut milk with a little bitof tamarind and turmeric and let it cook on medium until it thickens. Then grill the fish on both sides and when its ready pour the paste on the fish and grill for 1 minute then turn the other side, repeat the step.server while warm.

I am from Kenya. We have different traditional dishes and most of them vary with the tribe you are from. Among the agikuyu community, there is githeri and mukimo. Among the kamba there is muthokoi. Among the dhuluo there is ugali and fish. This are just some of the dishes, there are more.

I am from Kenya as well. I enjoy the traditional vegetables from the Luhya-Luo communities, especially mitoo + murere (mulukhiya) mix is my favorite when taken with ugali.

I'm from East Africa and I love matoke and groundnut sauce. Matoke is green bananas that are boiled and mashed. The only different thing I do is roast my groundnuts/peanuts before grinding into flour for the sauce.

I am from Tanzania and my favourite food is chapati with chicken stew. Chapati is made up of flour, salt, warm watet and hot cooking oil. Then its rolled up in a dough and pressed to form round plate size delicious chapatis after frying them of course.
