I didn’t start cooking until I moved out after college… my mom cooked everything for us and I didn’t spend too much time learning. So naturally, I called my mom frequently when I started to cook!

I was probably 12 or so. I'd cook for my little sisters.

I started when I was about 8 years old. My grandma taught me, but this is when I made my first meal by myself.

I started at the age of 10 and I hated it because the woman who made me do it did not teach me. Just placed me in the kitchen and said cook! What a disaster that was, but I enjoy it now.

I started to learn when I was 17. I didn't want to, but my grandmother always kept calling me to the kitchen.

I started cooking when I was 13. The first meal I ever made was undercooked, lol. It was for a school practical and it was quite tasty.

I started cooking in elementary school. I learned from my mother, my grandmother, and my aunts. We would have big family gatherings and all of the women had such fun in the kitchen together. Whenever I visited my grandparents, we would cook and bake together. My mother was a nurse so she often called upon my sisters and me to help prepare dinner. My sisters and I often baked together as well. I still love to cook! I taught my sons how to cook, and now they are adults that cook for themselves and others. I also taught my husband how to cook, and now we enjoy cooking together. He even looks up his own new recipes to try!

I made my first dish at the age of 8. Nothing fancy a simple omelet. I did get better at mixing the ingredients and broadening my cooking horizons as I grew up!
