For some reason, my head keeps on screaming 8. Anyways at 8, I was already helping out in the kitchen. I think like washing rice and fish.
Today's me is better than yesterday's me.

I still cooking at the age of 5. I knew that it was killed that hard to learn because my mum beats tight formation into my head. Although I'm not the greatest Cook I am a decent one.

:D I started at the age of 10 when I and my sister returned from school, we were so tired and hungry and there was no food at home. It was really frustrating and annoying and I got into the kitchen and the only thing in the fridge was eggs and then I made an egg soup.
It really came out well and we eat it with cassava flour (eba).

Take me for an instance, growing up, my mum would not let me go into the kitchen because she said i was too hyper active. But at some point she let me access the kitchen. i would say i was around 9 years i think.

I started at age 13/14. I always loved cooking and baking, helping my mother and grandmother in the kitchen. I'm grateful to them for passing down their culinary skills. Now I can cook anything anytime with any ingredients

Tough to put a definite age on it, I remember helping and doing baking bits from a young age. Once I was around 11 or 12 myself and my sister cooked one meal a week (so every other week) to encourage us to cook and also to make sure we could. Didn’t always enjoy it at the time but worked out rather well.

Find me on my knees with my soul laid bare

I started cooking when I was eleven. Being a first child made it possible for me to start cooking at a young age. Till today, I am grateful for taking that bold step.

It would have been the summer before 5th grade my dad and step mom let me start learning to cook. The first thing I learned to cook was sauted onions with lemon pepper and that's about all I ate for 2 months.

I started at the age of 12 or 13 i think. My mom used to bake a carrot cake which I absolutely loved. I learned the recipe so I could make it for myself whenever I wanted. It was rock hard the first time I made it but I managed to perfect it.

I started at age 9. Cooking is an interesting activity. It's worth every time and effort put in.
