A very tricky question that depends on the type of food. Most cereals when cooked and frozen as left overs when warming them they are stale, however vegetables unless with tomatoes can be frozen heated and eaten.

Isn't it obvious though? We keep them or cook them in huge amounts on purpose so that we can eat them the next day too. No harm intended, but I'm still perplexed as to why people don't save leftovers.

Good old refrigerator to the rescue if I will use the leftover in a couple of days. If you plan to keep it for long then freezing is a better option. Leftovers will come in handy after a long day at work. But the thing is you need to know the best way to turn it into a delicious meal with minimal effort. I sometimes deliberately cook excess food and freeze it. Throughout the week I will use it.

I love to have leftovers! There's nothing better than coming home after a long day and realizing that a delicious dinner awaits! My husband and I both enjoy leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day. If I make a large amount, then I freeze portions for the future.

I know some people wont like it but here in Africa most of us give leftovers to dogs. We also have hens and also cats.

My mom was always very strict with food hence there any leftovers. For some reason when I cook there aren't any leftovers, if any I preserve in the fringe

Some leftovers are good after warming them up. And some, adding a few spices will make it even better.

If it's not bad yet, I eat them or give them to my pet. My dog enjoy eating just about anything, so if I can finish off my food I'd give it to him.

I am a big fan of at least trying to reduce waste - I often end up freezing leftovers to have again on another day.

My best use of leftovers is making dishes with them especially rice to accompany breakfast in the morning.
