Any day any time. I store my food condiments in them, store food inside the freezer with them. I often take my lunch to work using it. All I have to do is microwave it while at work and I will enjoy my yummy meal immediately

I have heard that using plastic containers may lead to certain health risks/issues, but mainly out of availability, budget, and plain complacency, I haven't made much change in how I store my food. I do have glass containers too, and I use them whenever possible. It's just that I have much more plastic tupperware, and they're convenient.

I'm just lazy and complacent...

I think it's ok to use plastic containers if u are not heating it or putting in hot food. U can use plastic boxes for fruits or snacks but not for hot pasta or coffee.

I am guilty of still using plastic containers just because I have so many of them but I am buying more glass containers in recent times. I also avoid chucking hot/warm food into a plastic container because that only makes the situation worse.

Just for storage purposes. Never for heating in microwave oven anymore or even storing hot food items. It is rumoured to cause cancer :(

I only use plastic for storing dry goods and for making my salads for lunch. Other than that, it's glass all the way.

Well not entirely, because I think I have read it somewhere that when a food stays long in a plastic container, there's tendency for the plastic to release some amount of toxin into the food. Well obviously, I'm not into health. But I'd take all precautions to avoid gettinf sick. I love my health!

I use plastic containers a lot. I find it more practical. I just avoid putting hot food in them.

As much as plastic is bad for the health, sometimes we're left without a choice especially when alternatives are unavailable. So, i use plastic at home

I will if it is something that is not greasy. For lunches I take to work, I only use glass for things I need to heat. Even microwave-safe plastics seem to not do so well in the microwave for me.

Yes I use plastic as a food container. Only if the food is cold. Since heat foods can melt the plastic. It won't be good to contain hot foods in plastic.

I still use plastic because it's less likely to break than glass, but i do think as the eventually start to break I'll probably switch to glass.
