We frequently make tomato stew at home! It's really so delicious and easy to cook. Although there might be various methods to cook it, depending on the place or country you live in. Let me share with you guys, my method!
First of all, peel and chop the tomatoes roughly and blend them into a smooth puree. Then, heat a few tablespoons of cooking oil in a pot.
Add chopped onions and sauté until the texture become translucent and slightly golden. Aroma is in the air!
After that, add minced garlic and again sauté a little bit.
Finally, pour your tomato puree and stir it well.
Adding salt, black pepper, and other seasonings of your choice is the most important step.
Let the stew simmer until the flavors meld until you get your desired consistency. This could take around 20-30 minutes.
After that, you can serve. Viola!
