If it's baking, I follow the recipe but if it's just for cooking, I dont measure things as carefully and I use a lot of substitutions.

the first time I make something, i always follow the recipe pretty strictly. However, I usually end up experimenting since I have no sense of smell, my taste buds are really weak, so I will have to make adjustments to bring out certain flavors.

I love to experiment as my dad taught me. Why follow the norm when you can actually get to the same end through another route? That was his favorite quote whenever he cooked a dish through another faster method. So, that imbibed in me the culture of always defaulting from following any recipe to the words.

I tend to do both. The only recipes I follow loyally is my mom's pasta sauces. She was born in Naples Italy and growing up, we made homemade pasta noodles, fresh tomatoes canned, fresh herbs from the garden! Yummy

Hybrid! If I'm trying some recipe out for the first time, I stick very closely to the book, but if it's a dish I'm already familiar with, I'm usually less precise and more willing to deviate / try something new with the dish.

Love to experiment. Whether I don't have the ingredients or I just like to switch some things around.

The first time I make a dish, I follow the recipe exactly. The second time I like to make changes based on my family's personal preferences. The husband always know if it's a first time dish by the amount of griping coming from the kitchen.

Well I am definitely an experimenter and love to learn new things. It's good tomake some few changes when cooking, especially nutritious meals. But I mostly follow recipes when baking and grilling...

I am mostly a risk taker so I find myself experimenting almost every time. I only use the recipe as a guide.

I am kind of a free spirit. I don't really have a particular identity when it come to cooking. I use whatever inspires me per time and I like it. Sometimes it comes out amazingly delicious, other times, not so much

I follow recipes strictly coz am not a good cook. I tend to burn food, also burn myself, cut myself and I'm terrible at the measurement of ingredients.

Both.

I'm a strict recipe follower if it's my first time cooking a dish, if I've never tasted what I'm making, or if I'm baking. You know in baking one has to be strict.

I'm an experimenter when I'm making things I usually make and have a bit of experience or I don't have the normal ingredient.

I am a strict recipe follower as I am very bad at cooking and I don't even know the basics. Its just the salt or spices which I can change. I only experiment with dishes which I am very perfect at cooking.
