I am a strict recipe experimenter because the common recipe is too continuous and I am craving always on something new. I am an experimenter as this helps boost my confidence and skills. Also, I am a cooker in our business and this would better help our business to become unique.

As I am with most things, definitely experimental ! Sometimes I like to keep a recipe with me as a guide, but I love tweaking them here and there

Do you follow recipes to the letter, or make it up as you go along?
Or do you mix the two?

I tend to do both, but usually experiment more than I follow recipes. Even when I use a recipe, I tend to change things to suit myself. :cooking:
I am both an experimenter and follower but it is dependent on whether I am cooking or baking and whether it is a local or international dish.

For example, goat meat. I have more leeway in experimenting with spices and herbs because I have mastered the basics of cooking goat meat for the family. Whilst baking mandazi (a local Malawian donut) requires me to strictly follow the recipe because it has a distinct well known taste. Experiments would not be appreciated especially by the older generation. :D

I am an experimenter and will only strictly follow a recipe if it is unfamiliar.
Today's me is better than yesterday's me.

Not all recipes fit everyone’s taste so I always tweak a thing or two to my satisfaction

I do both, but most of the times I follow the recipe. The only times I experiment a little is when the recipe has an ingredient that I really like.

I only follow recipes when I am baking. I mainly use recipes to form an idea. I like to experiment while cooking.

I am an experimenter. I find that due to different tastes, one cannot be confined to a strict recipe.

I love experimenting so I will read the recipe to get a general idea of what I am making and when it comes to ingredients I can surely add my own ideas.

LoL. You get? That is so me.

I love experimenting but my love for famous recipes overrides the number of times I try my recipies. Most of the time when i experiment it turns out wrong and that why i try recipes most of the time.
