YES!!! We are kindred spirits.Mariah7francis wrote: ↑27 Dec 2018, 15:17 Cooking is like a work of art to me, the process in preparing the meal it joy on it's own. I follow every recipe guide when it's a new dish. But when it's a dish I'm familiar with I experiment with it.
Cooking and serving food ,is indeed a work of art and though i am not the greatest artist I take comfort in the truth that this work shall soon be consumed and a better take its place.

Those dishes that elder family members have instilled in us, do indeed present a cozy feeling each time they are flawlessly recreates, and strengthens that invisable yet strong family connection.Taylor Danvers wrote: ↑11 Feb 2019, 15:18 I usually cook the way I learned from my mother and elder siblings but I also love experimenting with my own ingredients.

I love this, particuarly because it is how I feel about cooking as well! I also follow recipe guides when I've never cooked the dish before, but I do really enjoy throwing meals together with what is left in my refridgerator the day before I go grocery shopping--it makes for some interesting creations! Thank goodness I always keep my spice cabinet stocked lol.Mariah7francis wrote: ↑27 Dec 2018, 15:17 Cooking is like a work of art to me, the process in preparing the meal it joy on it's own.
