Amala and ewedu

Amala and ewedu is a type of traditional food in the Yoruba culture located in Nigeria it a simple traditional food wish does not require any stress in preparation.
To prepare amala you just have to buy your powered made from yam peel after you've gotten that boil water make sure it boils the then pour your powder into the boiled water make sure it properly turned.
For the ewedu get your live then cut it into pieces and boil after that make a stew then it read to eat.

The amala sounds interesting and a bit like a cornbread variation (cooked in very hot water) that people cook here in the south. And your yam peel powder might have a similar taste and texture to the corn meal. Thank you for sharing.

I really dislike yams I'm sure amala and ayedu is a great meal but it's just not for me. I prefer something without yams.

Ohh mine.... Yummy yummy. It is a huge delicacy in some cultural part of Nigeria.

Amala and Ewedu is a very delicious meal and I enjoy eating it a lot. Moreover, it's one of my favorite food

That is so interesting. I have never heard of the dishes before. I would love to try them!
