Do You Ever Bake with Almond Flour?

Post by Bluebird03 »

Have you tried any recipes that call for Almond Flour instead of regular flour? And if so, what did you bake? I have tried it in several cookie recipes. It's especially good when making cheesy garlic biscuits.

I've only used almond flour for making macaroons once! It was pretty easy to work with and I am definitely interested in trying it out again. The cheesy garlic biscuits you mention sounds amazing!

I haven't used almond flour, but it sounds interesting! If only I baked with flour, lol. The biscuits sound super amazing.

I wonder if you can make other things like naan bread with it :eusa-think:

I had no idea almond flour was a real item until I came across your post. Seems like a healthier alternative, how does it taste in comparison to regular flour?

I use it for macarons and sometimes to make gluten-free foods. Definitely a great alternative to wheat flour, although it sometimes doesn't work as well depending on what you're making. You also have to pay attention to how you'll need to adjust the other ingredients in order to make it work.
