Dark Chocolate?

Post by Bluebird03 »

Do any of you like dark chocolate? Or do you prefer the regular milk chocolate? And what about white chocolate?
I find that if the dark chocolate recipe- or candy piece- has just a pinch of salt on it, the dark chocolate tastes much better and smoother. Maybe that is because I've heard that salt brings out the sweetness of foods.

I enjoy dark chocolate and do like milk chocolate as well. White chocolate isn't really my thing though. I like when they have the crunchy pieces in them (like a Crunch bar). I love using my silicone molds to make cute chocolate pieces too!

dark chocolate is my favourite by far. I really enjoy the taste and it definitely tastes better in baking than milk chocolate. I do like milk although I can really taste the sugar in it. I like white chocolate also but it's not real chocolate!

Milk chocolate is my absolute favorite; every time! White chocolate is more of a "in the mood" kind of choice which definitely trumps dark chocolate. I find dark chocolate more appealing in other desserts like brownies and cakes. But chocolate is always delicious.

White chocolate isn't chocolate. I much prefer dark to milk chocolate, especially with salted caramel!

I like white chocolate more but I read that dark chocolate has health benefits so I try to take it more often than white chocolate.

I have very sensitive teeth so as much as I love milk chocolate I can’t have more than just a tiny bite. Dark chocolate however, I can actually eat but I hate the taste! And I only like white chocolate in my pancakes.

I've always preferred white chocolate. White chocolate macadamia cookies are my favorite! I can't stand the bitterness of dark chocolate though.

I actually prefer dark chocolate. In fact, if it is not dark, I might even pass. If I'm going to eat something with so many calories, it should be something worthwhile.

I love dark chocolate. I buy the Russell Stover's box that is all darks. The 84% cacao bars are a little too bitter for me, but I like the 70% kind.
