Icon Movies with Anti-Climactic endings

:tiphat: Alright ladies and gentlemen, which movies did you watch recently which weren't able to sustain whatever they had built up and could have had a better ending? Please refrain from including spoilers, much appreciated.

I recently watched Adam with Beth Buchwald, and even though it was a good romance movie for the majority of the film, it didn't end as well as it could have in my opinion. :(

That's a good question! I recently watched War of the Worlds (the 2005 film) and was a little disappointed in the anti-climactic ending. Well, I understand why the writers took that route but it could have ended differently--in ways that could have been more dramatic and or satisfying. I still think it's a nice film, though!
