An anime that reminds you of a book?

Post by Essentially_Literate »

Can you think of anime that reminds you of a book or vice versa? I remember reading a book called Lockdown: Escape from Furnace by Alexander Gordon Smith and then later watching the anime Deadman Wonderland. I noticed how similar the main characters dilemmas were and how they both belonged to the horror genre. I think it would be awesome to hear what other people think! :D
