I hated the show. It was ridiculous. The actors acted poorly, and a lot of things were unexplored, at least that's how the first season was for me. The second season was even worse. The fact that they tried to copy the Harry Potter books is probably why they failed. I think if HBO or the BBC had made the series it would have been better.

I have read the books but I wasn't very convinced with the TV adaptation. I quit the series after a few episodes.

At first, I watched The Magicians then I got in love with it so I bought the books and fell even more.
