A Percy Jackson adaptation is finally coming!

It definitely needs a more accurate adaptation to what the movies gave us. I hope they stay pretty faithful to the books. I think it has more of a chance since it'll be a series instead of movies.

I really hope the book finally gets the adaptation it deserves. Do you think it this series has a good future ahead? I am really looking forward to see if The Heroes of Olympus is getting adapted as well.
Same! This was really a childhood series for me and I'm so excited it's finally coming to life on the screen. I think I speak for most PJO fans when I say that the two movie adaptations were a disappointment, but hopefully since Rick is involved this time, it'll be much more faithful to the book. I can't wait for it to come out!

I just heard about it and I'm very excited. I enjoyed watching the previous movies. I'm so happy because Rick is part of the writing crew.

This sounds good because I'm a big fan of historical film based on Greek culture. Rick always delivers top quality content.

I’m super excited! The other adaptions they did were not the greatest. I didn’t like how old they made Percy in the other adaptions. I’m hoping that the new adaptation they are making turns out better because the other movies definitely did not do the books justice.

I'm so excited. The other adaptations were below oar and hopefully this one will live up to its billing. I'm not ready for it to flop.

Book adaptions haven't had the best outcomes; things are improved here and there but I wouldn't be optimistic, a lot can go wrong.

I'm so excited! Definitely worried that they might change the story too much (Ender's Game, The Giver) and it will turn out disappointing but until it comes out I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and wait to watch it to judge.

It's been a while since this post came out and the show has already made its way to Disney+ and I have to say, it was really good! I think the first few episodes were fabulous, it did feel a little stagnant in the middle there but overall really enjoyable! I am looking forward to season 2 and seeing what they do with it!
