I would prefer to read a book than watch its adaptation made into a movie. The reason being, books are more expressive and have vivid descriptions, which increases one’s creativity and brain activity. Also, most films don’t do justice to the books. But if one wants to spend less time, then a film serves that purpose.

If its something I really find interesting, I would want as much details as possible. Only a book can provide this.

However, if the subject was not that interesting, it would be better as a movie,as it would go faster.

I prefer not to convert books into movies, especially if the book contains very deep ideas. It is very difficult to accurately replicate the reader's mind because the novel allows space for thinking and the reader's imagination. In the case of a movie, it is the director's imagination that is presented.

If I know what I am getting into and know a bit about the synopsis and ratings I would choose to rate the book. Because I would want to read what came first before I watch the movie adaption. Though, like someone else mentioned it's harder to read a bad book than watch a bad movie. So, if I am unaware of what I am getting into I would prefer the movie then read the book.

I'd definitely prefer the book.

I prefer reading books, but I also wish that my favorite books could be adapted into movies or TV shows.

While both mediums offer unique experiences, I'd lean toward a book over a movie. Books often delve deeper into characters' thoughts and emotions, allowing for a richer connection to the story. The imaginative scope in books is boundless, letting readers interpret details individually. Movies are captivating visually, yet books stimulate the mind's creativity. Ultimately, the immersive journey a book offers is my preference for its depth and imaginative freedom.

I often prefer books for their immersive depth, allowing me to engage my imagination. However, a well-executed movie adaptation can bring visuals and emotions that complement the literary experience. It depends on the story and my mood.

It depends on my mood and what I'm in the mood for. Sometimes I prefer books because they allow for more detailed world-building and character development, while other times I prefer movies because they can be more visually engaging and easier to consume.

In the case of anime based on books, sometimes I prefer reading the book because many parts are cut during the adaptation to film.

The book . Books are detailed to description and the characters are sometimes different or they get them wrong when they audition and I don't know how in movie. Confusing much .

If I am given a book to read about a story and a movie to watch then I will read the book first and then watch the movie because I like both.

I would pick the book. The book would be so much more detailed and provide a lot of background that would elevate the story being told. Besides it gives the reader the chance to create the world in their head, creative freedom if you will. So definitely the book to the movie.
