Icon Under the Dome Series Vs Book

Post by Doaa Wael »

Have you read and watched the series of Under the Dome. It is quite interesting but I heard the series was some sort of concept spin-off, with lots of details entirely different. Those who read the books say the book is better and those who watched the series only but are aware of the plot of the book say the series adaptation is better. Has anyone seen both, what are your views?

I liked the books more for sure , I watched the tv series as well but I felt the books had way more details and the characters were described better!

Compared to the book and the Series on TV, they seem to have quite a few similarities, which I feel are isolated without any contact with the outside world, and eventually things will get worse if people do nothing about it. At some point, people need to cooperate to come up with a possible solution without pinning blame on each other for the crisis; otherwise, it seemed to me that time was spent on revenge rather than finding solutions. From that point on, I realized the book and the series were giving me life advice, and I didn't even know them before.
