The Impressionists

For those of you interested in the Impressionist school of art below is a link to an excellent dramatic film made by the BBC. This film (in three parts) dramatizes the details and the origins of the movement. It is historically very accurate and is cinematically profoundly beautiful.

For those of you who know what Impression Sunrise refers to ... that sequence, within the film, took my breath away. Many emotional moments for those who understand this period of the history of art.
