I love watching movies but I think I prefer series. Series give you purpose of watching while movies are one-off and seem to fast-paced compared to series. Nothing can give you that build-up that spans across season or that character development or world building. Series are great for me.

I'd prefer series over movies ... longer watching time, you see!! But there have been movies that are not part of any series that I've enjoyed so much that I've watched them several times over.

Usually I prefer a one sitting movie. You just need a couple of hours (if that) of free time and it is over. You are done with that story.
