Books accurately made into movies?

The Sense and Sensibility adaptation by Emma Thompson is pretty remarkable when it comes to books into movies, as well as a stand alone film

It's not in theaters yet (August 15!), but I really hope that "Crazy Rich Asians" by Kevin Kwan turns out well.

Still Alice by Lisa Genova is an excellent book and one that I thought would be difficult to translate on the screen, as the book relies on the main character's inner thoughts. The actress Julianne Moore does a great job, however, in the movie adaptation. The book and movie succeed in evoking the heartbreaking reality of early onset Alzheimer's.
