When reading a book, I picture the characters’ look, personality and lifestyle. Movies rarely, if ever, cast the person that I have imagined and I find it difficult to sit through the move because of this. Books are able to go into much more detail where as movies leave out parts, to me, that are important aspects of the book.

It is interesting that you comment about the movie cast sometimes not being quite what you imagined. Have you ever had occasions where you sit there ruminating during the movie because the person who is playing one particular character annoys you and you get annoyed that they are even in the movie?Melee3 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2018, 22:53 I prefer reading a book before seeing the movie.
