The Virgo Speaks wrote: 06 Dec 2016, 23:11 There have been many movies based off of the story line of novels that evoke emotion. My question is are there any books that have made you cry just as u would have done or did if you actually saw the movie? An example would be "The Fault In Our Stars" (I shed a tear or two toward the end)
YEAH, I am famous for crying during emotional scenes, whether it be a movie drama or a book!

I cried watching "Janu" an Indian movie. It's tragic love story.

I have been known to cry during a book and movie. Books I have cried during are "Lovely Bones" and "Lucky", as well as "A Child Called It" as well as the other books that followed. Movies I have been known to cry at are "A Walk to Remember" and "Sound of Freedom". The more the story is either based on real life or a true story, the more it gets to me.

@Leona Rodrigues Same here. My lachrymal glands seem to work overtime during emotional scenes in movies or while reading them in a book, but I've grown better with time.
