Yes, a book as well as a movie. There was a book I was reading on an online platform. I currently do not remember the book name. The genre was scary. Also, the author's profile seemed suspicious plus there was no book cover of the book. As I am not a fan of the horror genre, if I watch a movie, it has a very low level of horror but it does scare me out.

I have never got scared by any book or movie because Horror is my favorite genre so far. I admire watching horror movies, in particular, and enjoy it excessively.

I love horrors overall. However the book that literally gave me nightmares from the start to the end was "Red Dragon" by Thomas Harris, the Hannibal series. I can't for the life of me understand why? The book is very intense but yet I have read many books before and in the same category as this one, and never had nightmares. Oh and then, don't forget 'IT'... I think its just cause of the clown factor, I really don't appreciate clowns at all, but yet I will watch 'IT' every single time!!! Hahaha.

One movie that really scared me was Bulbul. It's an Indian movie on Netflix. Some of the scenes actually gave me nightmares.

I scare really easily, but the Witches by Rohl Dahl was the absolute creepiest book. The movies were also very scary.

There aren't any books that have really scared me, but when it comes to movies Unhinged terrified me. It didn't scare me in a horror movie way, it just made me realize how easily the situation could happen to me and my loved ones, which was very unnerving.

The movie that scared me up till this day is "the nun". I watched it alone which may have added to the fear. It was so scary I found it difficult to fall asleep at night... Dunno how I got past the experience though.
