Bridgerton looks amazing, but I keep getting spoiled everywhere. Not that I mind though, but I'd like to know in which order to read the books!

I love the show and am debating on the books, although apparently they go in a different order.

I want to read these series so bad. As always the books 98% of time time are always better than the movie or show (in this case). Library has x2 on hold for me but won't be able to get a book by the time the new series Part 2 on Netflix drops on 13 June 2024. There is also a super fancy limited edition that is available for preorders hardcovers that will look just fancy on one's bookshelf.

The books were fine; nothing excelent, just an easy beach read. The series is fun, the first two seasons were great (even though I had to cringe several times). But the last seasons was not that great, kinda boring; Penelope was interesting, but Colin became a very flat, boring character and I just didn't want him to end up with Pen.

I have read the books and I personally enjoyed some of them more than the tv series, especially Penelope and Collin's story. I think the books are more detailed and provided a better insight into the characters, however on the other hand lady whistledown's character is way more relevant in the tv series and I wish the books had that as well!
I would attempt reading the first novel at least and that will give an idea of what to expect. The TV series does deviate from the novels quite a bit as well

I was told by a friend that they aren’t worth reading, but that they do differ quite a bit from the show (we were specifically talking about Eloise as she’s my favorite show character).

I recently discovered that there was a book and I was very happy. I admit I was a little sad because I wanted more episodes but I liked it.
