Is the reality of the world different from how we perceive and experience it in our minds? Does physical reality exist apart from the human mind?

Someone after my heart! Rose of Versailles is one of my favorite anime. I was so hype when there was a potential remake teased a few years back, only for it to fall flat and to end with ... some weird pachinko machines? I don't remember.sadya wrote:Not sure if this counts, but forgive me, I'm turning 40 next year, 'Lady Oscar' is one of the best for me, also known as 'The Rose of Versailles'.
Beyond that I also love Sailor Moon because it touts FRIENDSHIP, which is my thing on so many levels. Princess Tutu, Princess Jellyfish, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cardcaptor Sakura, Baccano!, Utena ... I love so many series, it's hard to pick an absolute favorite. I suppose my running theme is the magical girl genre, though?

Oh boy, you'd be amazed how many products the series is on! Makeup is a very popular thing for products. There's also an all-female theater called Takarazuka Revue that has done a bunch of musical performances of the series.sadya wrote:I just had to look up pachinko as I had no idea what that is. It's nice to see Lady Oscar back in different places. Thank you very much for all the info and the link.
