Carla, I read it ... you're in for a treat. Very nicely penned, and, per my last post, you may just find some sweet surprises that weren't in the movie. *L* It's a great book. You're gonna love it.[/quote]

I am anticipating reading it!

Sometimes this can be a real treat. It's as if you can extend the pleasure and experience; especially if the movie was awesome.

I'd rather see the movie first then read the book if I enjoyed the movie. I always think the book is better. But i think that also since sometimes I have a hard time picturing a character based on descriptions, this would give me an immediate face to think of when Im reading instead of watching a movie and thinking 'Gee, that not what so-and-so looked like in my head.'

Quite often I go to the movies and see previews for great movies and think to myself 'I wonder if thats a book' and then Ill go home and search the internet for it. I havent read the hunger games series (I know I likely the only one) but Ive seen all the movie and have enjoyed them, so ill probably buy the series and read it once I see the final movie.

A walk to remember , really changed my day . Awesome is just an understatement to the kind of movie i've seen , totally out of the world & just got to know that the novel indeed was also one of the most lovable works in the love story genre . Really curious to get the novel & read it ... What say ...

I always look at the end of the movie the great words "based on so and so novel" . If I liked the movie that is the first thing I do check the book series online, hoping to find a new series to read.

Agreed, I tend to check before I watch a film to see if there's a book. A couple times that I found out after seeing the movies that the books existed, it drove me crazy while reading the books to have pictures of the actors instead of being able to create the characters in my imagination.

I totally agree. I love exploring a storyline that I love more in depth. I go and get the book as soon as possible!

ninety percent of the time when they turn a book into a movie, I feel they don't give it the proper adaption it needs. I mean, I know we as Authors and writers want to see our work turned into film, but in words, you can so much. In film you can say, "she is thinking" because you can't see her thoughts, let alone hear them. You know what I mean, but when you are writing them, yes you can see and hear her thoughts. That is the advantage of writing and reading. Just my input.

I actually really do love watching a random movie and loving it so much but then finding out there's a book series that goes along with it. I've found so so many good books because of this and it's an amazing thing sometimes.

That's never happened for me. It's always the other way round, but yes, I would love it if that happened

Yes, but I feel even more excited when I find out a tv series is based on a book.

Yes!! I love that because I get more frustrated when I read and then watch. So I usually enjoy the story more when I read the book after I watch the movie :)

That would be hard to imagine. When I read books, I like that suspense element... Wouldn't want to know the plot before hand
