I prefer the sub. The emotions are more original. I enjoy it better in the natural language it was made it. Kudos to the translators

Subs are the best option; the voice is usually better, of course they are few exceptions but those are few and far between. I guess people with dyslexia and other issues won't see it as a good option.

Subbed is better than dub in most cases. Only people with legitimate reading problems should choose dub

Sub. A lot of dubs don't accurately portray the emotions of the characters, or have inaccurate translations :(

It actually depends on the language
If it's Japanese, Spanish or french, I prefer watching with subtitles but for Chinese, I prefer dubs.

It is an objective fact that subs are usually better than sub. There are only a few cases where I would say it is the opposite. Go for subs when you watch stuff.

subtitles because it annoyed me when the voiceover isn’t matching up with the actors’ lip movement 😭

I prefer sub as I feel like in the dub the voice is not right or the sentence in dub in not accurate when u match with the sub.

Undoubtedly subtitle. Dubbed films are awful to watch.

Subs for sure. I feel like I can’t hear the characters talking half of the time, anyways, so I almost always have subtitles on!

Definitely prefer subtitles. Dubbed is always so weird to me. I watch lips when people talk, so if it doesn't match I have so much trouble watching and enjoying!

Subtitles for sure! I feel like they’re more authentic and I can connect better to the characters and story when I hear the actors speak and express however they’d like. It’s not the same when it’s dubbed. I feel like you lose a lot of expression when it’s dubbed and it just comes off as fake. Though subtitles can be annoying if they’re not translated right but I still prefer them to dubbing.
