I don't know how people sit through dubbed movies.

I would definitely rather do subtitles over dubs. I struggle to focus when the sounds and lips doesn't move perfectly together. Even just a teensy bit out, it catches my attention immediately.

Sub. A lot of the lip movement in dubs is a bit too uncanny for me.

I prefer subtitles. I like hearing the language, especially when it's a foreign language. I feel like it adds authenticity to the video.

I definitely prefer subtitles, I don't like missing the original language or the original actors' voices.

For as long as I can remember, this has been a source of contention. Personally, I like subtitled movies. That way, I can genuinely understand what any character says, especially if they have a different accent or make off-screen statements, such as a narrator.

The only dubbed movies that I accept are Godzilla ones, other than that I need the subtitles. I saw Superpets Dubbed into Portuguese, and they use the same actor for all major movie dubs. I like to hear the actor's real voice because that is part of the craft too.

I have always loved subtitled movies even when I can understand the speech spoken.

Sub, especially with animes or a language-speaking movie.

English isn't my mother language and I'm still learning it. So if we talk about a movie in English I'd better watch it with the original sound. But with subtitles in English (or my native language if it's too complex for me).

I prefer subbed. The dubbed versions just seem so weird because the movement of the actor's mouth doesn't match the words the voice actor is saying.

I prefer subbed movies than dubbed because they sound more natural to me. My problem with subbed is I'm busy reading the subtitle that I can't fully concentrate on what I'm watching.

Nah! It just to be subtitles for me. There is a wholesomeness that watching a movie in its original language that is very difficult to replicate.

I prefer the ones with the subtitle. They are more interesting and the emotions can be transmitted very well to the audience.
