The Holiday was a great movie. All 4 characters were portrayed brilliantly by the respective actors. Also loved the underlying theme of caring for children! :?

Serendipity
You've Got Mail
High Spirits
Truly, Madly, Deeply (I love Alan Rickman!)
Sense and Sensibility (see, Alan Rickman)
Bed of Roses
Mrs. Winterborne
Much Ado About Nothing
Music From Another Room
Where the Heart Is

I'm going to stop now, though I could probably keep going for awhile.
Thank you for reminding me about 'You've Got Mail' - I absolutely loved it and haven't seen it in years. There are not many scenes that trump the butterfly on the subway scene.

I loved The Best of Me! While I usually go for movies with a bit of a happier ending, I love a movie that can rip my heart out!

The idea of tragic romance movies doesn't particularly appeal to me. I believe there are more effective methods to depict things because this particular method has grown stale.

I will have to go with the story about the greatest kiss of all time, The Princess Bride.

Whenever my wife is feeling a little down, we watch the Holiday with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz.

Off the top of my head, a favourite of mine would be "Isn't it Romantic?" starring Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, Adam Devine and Priyanka Chopra. It essentially pokes fun at all rom-coms and involves many romantic stereotypes, such as the gay best friend, kissing in the rain, falling in love with one's best friend etc. Overall, it's highly entertaining and of course, the cast is amazing.
