Ever watched a movie that made you so bored you could fall asleep?

To the point where you wondered where did they get these actors and actresses from or Why is the story line so bad?

All the time! Movies are mostly terrible these days. I prefer TV series. There's so much more time to develop the story and the depth of the characters.

From time to time it happens, though I try to be patient and watch them till they end so I can judge them appropriately.

Citizen Kane

Some consider this the best movie ever made. All I know is that after repeated viewings I have not changed my mind about it. I've had more fun watching paint dry. I think (at least in my opinion) that this movie is an example of that old axiom ... The King Has No Clothes.

Children of the Corn was weird. I could not take it seriously because it was not scary and so I nodded off so many times that I forgot what it was really about. Lol.

The last movie that made me feel like that was Glass. Although more because of the storyline than the actors.

I agree

But the worst for me is "broken flowers"

Too slow for my taste.

This may be heresy for some, but after three tries, I could not make it all the way through The Big Lebowski. I love everything else by the Coen brothers but that movie.

I'd also say most movies that are fourth or later in a series fall in this category with the exception of Avengers: Endgame. (Like really, why would I watch Hellraiser: Deader or Halloween 5?)

At times, I like watching movies with bad reviews just to see why it has got such ratings.

This is going to sound unbelievable, but you can sometimes tell before watching. Even intuit it from a poster or trailer.
Yes, movies have a vibe.
